Having fallen from the Interdimensional Archives, the Apprecience - KT-7461 - informs Ratchet that the only way to reach the Archives now is to rescue the Monks from the invading Nefarious’ forces. As you approach the Interdimensional Archives, you’ll enter a cutscene, where you’ll meet Prophet Gary’s apprentice. Once Monktown has been cleared of Nefarious forces, follow the waypoint marker as you head towards the large bridge, just outside the town gates. These are particularly helpful when changing levels as they’ll allow you to escape overwhelming situations should you become engulfed in enemy fire. Along with Rifts, there will also be plenty of Jumps Pads. Throughout the city, you will also find several Rifts, which you can tether to in order to flank enemies and avoid incoming damage. Much like most battles with Nefarious forces, you’ll face the likes of Nefarious Troopers, Nefarious Lasertroopers, Nefarious Sluggers, and Nefarious Blitztroopers.
